Children’s day was celebrated enthusiastically on 14 th November I.e. on Tuesday,under the auspices of Neelam Rajashekara Reddy Research Center in CR Foundation. Sports, music & cultural activities-competitions were conducted in the premises of CRF. Dr K Narayana, President, Chandra Rajeshwera Rao Foundation who attended as chief guest, distributed prizes for winners of various competitions. On this occasion a separate library is being established so that students from near by schools can Visit the library and read books .In certain poor families study atmosphere will not be available nearby residents can send their children to this library so that they can study their academic books and other literature of moral values as well. The program was attended by Palla Venkata Reddy, general secretary, CRFOUNDATION, Kilaru Poornachandra Rao, Director,Neelam Rajashekara Reddy research Center, Dr BV Vijayalakshmi & Jamuna program coordinators PJ Chandrashekara Rao former MLC,,V Chennakeshava Rao, Treasurer, CRFOUNDATION, K Bharathi, head of department of library science, Osmania University,Dr Rajini, Director, Medical& health Center, Kamala Reddy, Teachers union state leader, Mahesh, & Ramakrishna secretaries, CPI, Quthbullapur & Sherlingampally mandals secretaries respectively and Venkata swamy have participated.
Dr K Narayana, Foundation president while addressing after prize distribution has stated that the competitions are being conducted on Children’s day in order to unearth the hidden talents of children in various fields. Students of Kondapur and Hafeezpet are being invited. In future many nearby schools will be invited. He has appealed students to study well and get better ranks in studies and learn more moral values and ethics.
K Bharathi, Head of the department , library sciences, Osmania University while addressing has stated that in the library apart from academic books, books pertaining to moral values and ethics are being kept those books can be made best use of them.
